As citizens of the beautiful borough of Rutherford we are gravely concerned with the current level and type of development in town, evidenced by the recent approval of the Agnew Place Development and additional large projects currently in discussion and planning stages.

The Mayor and Council defied the Master Plan as recertified in 2018 and ignored the recommendations of the Planning Board, proving that they have no intention of maintaining the Master Plan's designation of smart, responsible and aesthetically appropriate development.
